Mission Statement
The North Star YA Award is designed to encourage young adults to read for fun. Our goal is to help teens feel empowered by selecting a statewide favorite to share with the world. Knowing that this is one of our last chances to create lifelong readers, books are selected with both quality and readability in mind.Â
